MMIA is excited to announce that through our joint efforts with MACOP and MLEA, we have secured a federal VALOR grant from the Bureau of Justice Assistance to bring the Law Enforcement Agency and Officer Resilience Training Program to Montana!
This 4-day program is designed to equip officers with empirically validated skills of resilience and to provide them with the training resources to bring the program back to their agency. The goal is to build more resilient officers and agencies by enhancing knowledge and skills in resiliency to assist officers in dealing with the many day-to-day challenges and stressors they face as well as those larger critical incidents. There is no cost to attend the training, which includes breakfast and lunch each day. Lodging and transportation costs are the responsibility of each individual agency.
